Desert Crossing Live Presents Jim and Ace

Jim Leslie moved to LA in the 1970’s and played with Dale Watson,  Billy Swan, Lucinda Williams and his own band, Buddy Hollywood.  Jim’s song White Boots was included in the Vaughan Brothers CD, which sold over 15 million copies and won 2 Grammys.

Ace was on the road, followed by time in LA and Phoenix.  Ace settled in the El Paso area in 1981.  As a founding member of Art Lewis’ Earth Men, Art and Ace performed for almost 20 years.  Other bands and performers include Gerald Hunter, PCG, Cat Crosby Band and the Mesa Street Trio.

Together Jim and Ace play songs from Jim’s CDs plus a variety of blues, 60’s rock and country.  Jim’s recent return to the Southwest reunited these two kindred spirits.
