Each entry should be prepared fresh in advance
Contestants should bring decorations for their table and prepare to show a full recipe to public, to avoid allergic reactions.
Contestants must be present during competition hours and provide chips for
public tasting.
All contestants must bring their salsa to assigned table position by 9:00am. We will start the tasting by 9:30am. Please keep your salsa safely cooled prior to and during competition. (cooler, Ice bath, etc.)
Official judging will be done by a panel. Prizes will be awarded to “Best in Show” in each category. (Hot, Mild, Fruity)
“People’s Choice Award” will be determined by public tasting. Most Festive Award will be determined by market staff and vendors.
Awards will be presented at 11:30 AM ~ Best of Luck to All!
